Just a little while ago we went on a little trip to see the new statue by the Kaneohe District Court. We read the story of why the statue was there. The story was about the law of the splintered paddle, and the law is to protect the elderly, woman and children. That statue had a man holding a paddle like he was about to swing it and there was another man next to him that was holding a child
